Before School Starts, Do This:

1. Turn in Your Health Forms

  • If you haven’t already, please submit your forms through August Schools, our partner in collecting and managing student medical information. You can access the platform by entering your email via this link. Athletic forms and all health forms were due Aug. 1. Questions? Contact our school nurse at nurse@menloschool.org.

2. Get Your Schedule, Books, and Supplies, and Finish Summer Assignments

3. Getting to Campus

  • Help reduce traffic! GO MENLO is THE way the Menlo community gets to and from school. Commit to walk, bike, carpool, or ride the train or bus. You can also take one of the Menlo buses, from San Mateo/Belmont/San Carlos, Woodside/Portola Valley, East Palo Alto/Palo Alto/Menlo Park, and Cupertino/Los Altos. Additionally, you can sign up for the Caltrain Shuttle here.
  • Go by bus—sign up today! Anyone planning to use Menlo’s Zum bus program this year should complete this form as soon as possible (if you haven’t already). Once signed up, you will receive additional onboarding information by email on Aug. 15. For questions about our Zum bus, please refer to this Q&A contact transportation@menloschool.org.
  • Do your part by carpooling! Use the carpool feature in our Knightbook. Parents who are logged into Knightbook, access it by clicking on the map icon in the top right-hand corner. From there, you can find families near you, filter by grade, and reach out to families to form a carpool. For step-by-step instructions, visit the Menlo Carpool page.

4. We’ll See You on the First Day!

  • Middle School begins at 8:35 am with a short assembly (for students) in the Middle School Garage on Aug. 21. There are special schedules on Aug. 21 and 22. The regular 7-Day rotating schedule will begin Monday, Aug. 25, with a Day 1. Remember, on all Day 1s, the Middle School has an early dismissal time of 2:50 pm.
