Battle of the Classes

Battle of the Classes is Menlo’s annual alumni fundraising drive for the Alumni Scholarship Fund (ASF) and takes place in the fall. Join us in this spirited and entertaining competition between classes. There is more than one way to win (improvement counts! Participation counts!). It is 100% about supporting student financial aid and 100% about alumni participation. Our goal is simply for you to engage with your alma mater and to come together to support the next generation of students.

Every gift, no matter the amount, helps your class in the Battle! Whether you give $5 or $500, your donation counts and makes an impact. Feel free to give a shout out to your class in your donation amount ($20.08, $200.80, or $2,008.00 for the class of 2008)!

Congratulations to our 2025 Winners:
Highest Participation: Class of 1988 (76% participation)
Most Improved: Class of 1986 (+ 11 new donors)
Young Alumni: 2016 (17% participation)

​​This year’s Battle of the Classes competition achieved a 14% overall participation rate. This is a truly remarkable accomplishment, and reflects the enthusiasm Menlo alumni have for staying connected and for giving back to support future generations.
