Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth Grade Girls’ Lacrosse
The Middle School Girls’ Lacrosse program has seen significant growth since its inception just a handful of years ago.
We humbly began with modest enrollment numbers and a menu of basic practices to generate interest, and we are now competing in multiple small-sided Jamborees with other WBAL schools throughout the season. In 2023, we scheduled a pair of season-ending full-field games at the seventh & eighth grade levels with Sacred Heart Schools, and these games were hugely popular for our/their students.
The full-field format will be the benchmark for all Middle School Girls’ Lacrosse seasons going forward, and it is a testament to the interest level and growth of both our program AND the sport of girls lacrosse in the region. During our classes, we cover a wide range of topics: from the most basic fundamentals of cradling, ground balls, passing and catching to stick tricks, shooting drills, small-sided games & scrimmaging, we do our very best to ensure that our students are always having fun and improving every single day. All Jamborees and games take place immediately after school.
