Lacrosse - Boys Varsity

About the Team

A pioneering school in Bay Area lacrosse, Menlo boys’ lacrosse plays in the top-tier West Catholic Athletic League.

In the 2025 WCAL playoffs, Menlo advanced past Sacred Heart Cathedral but fell in a tight quarterfinal match. Menlo earned a bid to the Central Coast Section (CCS) Div. I playoffs, where it fell to power St. Ignatius.

In 2022, Menlo made its debut in the Central Coast Section playoffs, it was the Knights’ second bid in as many years of existence.  After a rigorous league schedule; seven of the 12 CCS teams hailed from the WCAL, the Knights earned an opening-round bye before falling in the CCS quarterfinals.

From 2014-2017, the team reached the finals of the PAL playoffs in each of its first six years of existence and won three championship titles 2004-2006. The Knights competed in the Santa Clara Valley Athletic League in 2010 and promptly won two titles in 2010 and 2011.

Boys’ lacrosse is one of the most popular athletic programs offered at Menlo School and consistently finishes near the top of the CCS academic team competition.
